White Sox general manager Chris Getz said Thursday that Jimenez (hamstring) is expected to miss around one month, Scott Merkin of MLB.com reports.

Jimenez was placed on the 10-day injured list Wednesday with a left hamstring strain. After missing two weeks in April with a similar injury, Jimenez will be in store for a longer absence this time around. Corey Julks should see added playing time in the outfield and Gavin Sheets could settle in as the White Sox's primary designated hitter while Jimenez is on the shelf.
