Zac (Fisher) was originally expected to return in the next three to four weeks, we now expect this will extend that recovery time by a month, however it will enable a better medium and long term outcome which is really important for both Zac and the Club in regard to this season and moving forward."

Fisher sustained a bone stress injury to his ankle in Carlton's March 25 defeat at the hands of Collinwood, and, according the AFL.com, will miss at least the next six weeks.
ANALYSIS
Fisher produced a respectable 16 disposals (eight kicks and handballs each), four marks, three goal assists and a goal before being forced to leave last Thursday's contest. The 22 year-old seemed to be flourishing in a new attacking role for the Blues, but now joins teammate Jack Martin on the bench until at least mid-May.
