Gibbons (hamstring) is expected to be available for selection in Round 15 against Adelaide, according to Director of High Performance Andrew Russell. "Gibbo's good. He trained today, he'll train Thursday. We'll test him on Thursday but we expect him to play and be available at either reserves level or AFL level this week."

Gibbons missed the first weeks of June due to a knock picked up against West Coast and should now play at either the senior or VFL level this weekend. If he can stay in the lineup consistently, Gibbons began the season in good shape with six goals in three games.

June 1, 2021
Gibbons (hamstring) has been ruled out for Round 12 against West Coast and could return after the bye in Round 14, according to Director of High Performance Andrew Russell. "He'll rest, then we'll get him going and he will be a test to play leading into the GWS game."
ANALYSIS
Gibbons picked the injury early into the Round 11 loss to Sydney and it's since been confirmed as a low-grade issue. That's good news for both Gibbons and his club, as he's scored as many as 103 fantasy points in a game this season and averages a reasonable 15.8 disposals per start.

Gibbons suffered a hamstring injury during Sunday's Round 11 loss to Sydney, according to the AFL.com match report.
ANALYSIS
Gibbons tends to put up mid-tier numbers when he's able to complete full games, but an early injury ruined the chances of that happening against the Swans. He likely won't be available in Round 12 as hamstring injuries usually need 10 days at the least to recover from, though more news should still come out by the next game.

Gibbons (general soreness) is included in the team's starting lineup ahead of their Round 17 match against the Crows.
ANALYSIS
Gibbons is returning after missing one match due to soreness and should immediately provide an offensive boost for the Blues with his presence on the pitch.
