June 25, 2023
Henry will sit out the remainder of the Stampeders' 2023 season because of an Achilles injury, according to Danny Austin of the Calgary Sun.
ANALYSIS
Henry's lower-leg injury is a ruptured Achilles that resulted in the worst outcome for him, a season-ending diagnosis. He will finish his 2023 CFL season having 14 receptions for only one touchdown and 228 yards. Now, the Stampeders must find a solution for how they will operate without Henry available. The Stamps are expected to sign another receiver, considering fellow wideouts Jalen Philpot and Tyson Middlemost are on injured reserve with hamstring problems. If not, there will be a more significant focus on healthy receivers like Luther Hakunavanhu and Rysen John.
