The 6-foot-2, 306-pound defensive tackle was a key force in the interior of the Hurricanes defensive line for the past two seasons, totaling 73 tackles between those years. After Miami fired head coach Manny Diaz in December, Silvera opted to enter the portal and explore his options elsewhere, ultimately deciding to conclude his career in the desert. Silvera will be part of an experienced defensive-line group at Arizona State, but he'll have a good shot at breaking camp in a starting role.
