Moss is still the expectant heir to the starting job for the Trojans following Caleb Williams' departure for the NFL, but Maiava has reportedly improved in the spring and was utilized in some designed run plays in the spring game, per 247Sports. Moss doesn't possess the mobility of Williams, so it wouldn't be shocking if Maiava carves out a role in a few designed run packages, but it would be surprising for Maiava to unseat Moss as the top signal-caller option.
