Nonfactor in Week 18 win
Brownlee didn't catch his lone target in Sunday's 17-3 win over the Patriots.
ANALYSIS
Trevor Siemian completed only eight passes in the snowy win, and none of those completions went to Brownlee. The Jets' lack of depth at wide receiver paved the way for Brownlee to see consistent playing time on the outside down the stretch, but the undrafted rookie out of Southern Miss didn't do much with the opportunities, catching five of eight targets for 56 yards and a touchdown across seven appearances.

On roster bubble heading into 2024
Brownlee is on the roster bubble heading into training camp, according to Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic.
ANALYSIS
Brownlee signed with the Jets as an undrafted free agent in 2023 and got a chance to play a significant role down the stretch after injuries decimated New York's offense. He played over 80 percent of snaps in four of New York's final seven games but posted only 56 yards and one touchdown as a rookie. The Jets signed Mike Williams in the offseason and drafted Malachi Corley with the first pick of the third round. Garrett Wilson remains the team's top receiver, and Allen Lazard will be back for the second year of his four-year, $44 million contract. Xavier Gipson and Irvin Charles are special teams standouts. That leaves Brownlee seventh on the depth chart and competing for a possible roster spot against a new crop of undrafted free agent signings.

2023 Fantasy Outlook
Brownlee's arguably the most intriguing wide receiver that went undrafted in the 2023 class. Multiple teams displayed interest in the 6-foot-2 receiver from Southern Miss after the draft, and the Jets ultimately gave Brownlee $246,000 to sign, which was the largest sum given to any 2023 UDFA and similar to the typical money for a fifth-round pick. Brownlee reportedly impressed in both OTAs and training camp, and with the Jets having dealt away WR Denzel Mims in July, Brownlee has an opportunity to secure a spot on the 53-man roster. At worst, he'll spend his rookie season on the practice squad.
